The team was led by Dr. Leizel Servas, who heads Crestview’s Learning Support Program (LSP) and Behavioral Support. Both teams shared how they support children and explored ways to work together more closely.

Some Crestview learners also receive therapy and developmental care outside school. When the school and clinic share understanding (with parent consent) and align their strategies, each child gets connected care that is consistent at school, at home, and at the clinic.
This visit is the first step in an ongoing collaboration. Next, both teams will look at practical ways to coordinate when a Crestview learner also receives care at Kanbai Clinic. Crestview thanks the Kanbai Clinic team for their warm welcome and shared commitment to children and families.
“Children grow best when the adults around them work as one team. This partnership helps us give each child the right support at the right time, in a way that is consistent and connected.” — Dr. Leizel Servas
