What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. We use them only where they help the website work well for you.
Cookies we always use (essential)
- Your cookie choice (cv_consent): remembers whether you accepted optional cookies. Kept for 6 months.
- Your language (cv_lang): remembers whether you chose English, Thai or Chinese. Kept for 1 year.
- Calendar view (stored in your browser): remembers whether you prefer the month, year or list view.
- Staff login (wordpress_*): used only when teachers and staff log in to post stories or manage the calendar.
These are needed for the website to work, so they do not require your consent.
Optional cookies (only with your permission)
If you choose Accept all, we may use a visitor statistics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. These cookies are never used for advertising. If you choose Essential only, they are not loaded.
Chat, maps and videos
Our chat button opens Facebook Messenger or LINE in a new window. Those services, and embedded videos from YouTube or Facebook, have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply when you use them.
Changing your choice
Change your cookie settings at any time, or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights and contact
We handle personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). For questions about cookies or your personal data, contact Crestview International School at info@mail.crestview.ac.th or +66 84 281 1464.
